Meet Your Coach
Hi, I'm Kerri Goodman
I’m a certified life and ADHD coach and human behavior consultant. I live in a laid-back coastal town in North Carolina. When I’m not working, you can find me spending time with family, boating, training my spirited Australian shepherd, savoring unrushed cooking, avoiding laundry, reading on my porch swing, or walking on the beach.
Growing up as a Gen Xer in the ’70s and ’80s, I was that “ADHD-ish” girl long before ADHD was on anyone’s radar (for girls, anyway). I was endlessly curious, chatty, messy, restless, and active—more interested in creating a comic book business or climbing trees than sitting still in a boring classroom. I spent more than my fair share of time in the hallway, the principal’s office, or writing sentences on the blackboard. From a young age on, I always felt like I was different.
Later in life, after years of wondering if something was simply “wrong” with me, I was diagnosed with ADHD. Funny thing was, I’d worked with ADHD students for years and yet hadn’t recognized the signs in myself, often attributing my challenges to moral shortcomings. I’ve since learned that many women feel the same, often masking their struggles and carrying self-doubt.
As a coach for women, and as a human behavioral consultant, I get to combine so many things that I find fascinating and meaningful: neuroscience, motivation, behavior, growth, and share it with others.
My background in social work, special education, and ministry, along with my natural curiosity for human behavior and learning differences, helps me appreciate and understand people. Homeschooling my own divergent kids gifted me with patience, empathy, and a “let’s try anything” attitude—qualities that are now a core part of my coaching style. These experiences have shaped my approach, allowing me to connect deeply with each client, understand their unique challenges, and work alongside them to discover creative, practical strategies that make a difference.
How could coaching make a difference for you? Could coaching help you make a greater impact, bring calm to the chaos, or be the leader you desire to be? Could coaching help you create a home filled with fun and harmony, or bring structure and growth to a goal or dream? There’s one way to know if coaching could be right for you, and it’s as easy as a conversation with a friend. I hope to hear from you.
